Shire of Mundaring has committed funds to assist local young people who have been chosen to attend rural and remote, national or international events representing their institution, club or organisation in areas including sport and recreation, science, technology, arts, community service, culture and the environment.

Levels of Grant Available
- Rural and remote Western Australia $200 (outer Perth Metropolitan area)
- National $400
- International $600
Eligibility
To be eligible for a grant, applicants need to:
- Reside in the Shire of Mundaring
- Be aged between 8 - 18 years
- Provide documentation from the relevant body that confirms participation
Conditions
- Only one application per person per 12 months
- Applications must be received at least one month prior to the event or activity
- Approval is subject to annual budget availability
- Applications must be made by the young person or their parent/guardian
